Plain and Simple: My passion is planning the moments that help you and your guests build lasting memories.
The Details: After 15 years of planning weddings, corporate events, and community events for family and friends and local nonprofits, I am able to devote more of my time to Eventful Northwest.
The Beginning: My love for event planning began after my own wedding mishap (see details below). I couldn't have foreseen that the events of that day would change the course of my life, in more ways than one. Since then, I knew I wanted to help people plan their perfect celebrations and milestone events and prepare them for any unforeseen circumstances that might arise.
This is a quote that I used for my daughter's graduation party and it encompasses everything I hope for my girls. With that in mind, I am leading by example with Eventful Northwest. Planning moments that make memories is what "sets my soul on fire".

MY WEDDING STORY
I married my high school sweetheart when I was 20 years old. While I had a plan B for many of the details of our wedding, it seems the rule is "the thing you don’t plan for is the thing that will go wrong". On her way to our wedding, our officiant was in a car accident. Our guests, waiting outside for the ceremony to start, heard the ambulance go by as it headed to the accident.
The first person on the scene was an ordained minister that had just finished canoeing a local river with his wife. When he heard where our officiant was headed, after he made sure that the ambulance was there to help her, he headed to our wedding and officiated while wearing cut off jeans and a t-shirt. He and his wife were extremely kind and helpful and made our special day even more memorable.
WHO SHOULD HIRE A WEDDING PLANNER?
Many people like to do the planning of their wedding themselves, but still need someone to help with many of the little details and overseeing the wonderful event that they spent months planning. A wedding planner can alleviate friends and family, allowing them to simply enjoy the event.
For anyone that doesn't have time, or feels that they need a little extra help with the planning process, a wedding planner can relieve stress by helping with everything from the catering to flowers.
We have packages and pricing to fit every budget and planning need.
